Every freshman was issued a cap to proudly show their colors. Especially at sports competitions. Since we were an all female college, our competition was between Odds and Evens, depending on which class you were in. Many of us decided to add extra embellishments to each panel to make our caps unique. I was sort of proud of mine and did wear it on return visits for our reunions. At one of them, someone said I should give it to the University to add to a collection of artifacts of days gone by. So at our 60th this year, I decided to do just that.
